1. Introduction

Welcome to 1click.lk (the “Site” or “Platform”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site, and all related services, features, and content offered by 1click.lk. The Platform is an online marketplace that enables independent third-party sellers (“Vendors”) to list and sell their products to users (“Customers” or “You”).

By accessing, browsing, or using this Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Site.

2. Scope of Services

1click.lk is a marketplace platform. We are not the seller of the products offered on the Site. The actual contract for sale is directly between the Vendor and the Customer. 1click.lk is not a party to that contract and assumes no responsibility arising out of or in connection with it. We provide the venue and services for Vendors and Customers to complete transactions.

3. User Accounts

  • Registration: To access certain features, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. 1click.lk cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the services on this Site.

4. Platform Usage and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behavior includes:

  • Posting or transmitting any unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or scandalous material.
  • Using the Site for any fraudulent purposes.

  • Pricing: All prices posted on the Site are set by the individual Vendors and are subject to change without notice.
  • Payment: We facilitate the payment for items purchased on the Site. We accept various forms of payment as indicated at checkout. By providing payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.
  • Order Acceptance: Your receipt of an order confirmation does not signify our or the Vendor’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of the offer to sell. The Vendor reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

6. Intellectual Property

All content included on the Site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Site, is the property of 1click.lk, our Vendors, or our suppliers and is protected by copyright and other laws. You agree not to copy, distribute, modify or make derivative works of any materials on the Site without the prior written consent of the owner of such materials.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Platform “As Is”: The Site and its services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. 1click.lk makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, or products included on the Site.
  • Vendor Products: 1click.lk does not manufacture, store, or inspect any of the items sold through our Site. We provide the venue; the items are produced, listed, and sold directly by independent Vendors. Therefore, 1click.lk cannot and does not make any warranties about their quality, safety, or even their legality. Any legal claim related to an item you purchase must be brought directly against the Vendor of the item.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permissible by law, 1click.lk shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or from any information, content, or products included on or otherwise made available to you through this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 1click.lk, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to your use of the Site or any breach of these Terms.

9. Termination

1click.lk reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the Site and to block or prevent your future access to the Site.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and your use of the Site will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to the Site or to products you purchase through the Site shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to make changes to our Site, policies, and these Terms at any time. You will be subject to the policies and Terms in force at the time that you use the Site. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
